1996 mercury sable v6. wont start no noise and all electronics work?

-Tried to jump it off. Was running fine an hour ago. Turned it off and now it won't start again. Need to know. How to fixalternator not charging the battery or the battery has a dead dell.
Dead battery, yours does not seem to hold a charge.
