-None of the current Boxsters are offered with an automatic - the car comes standard with a traditional manual gearbox, and the PDK transmission is available as an option (this is a dual clutch system that is a true manual gearbox, but shifts similar to the older Tiptronic). The Tiptronic (which is an automatic gearbox) was offered as an option on all Boxster models prior to the introduction of PDK in 2009.Yes and most are bought that way.
