How do i fix lock door on 97 ford explorer if lock shut an cant be opened?

-did you try unlocking it from the rear door or passenger door? Once opened, I cut the wire to mine...it still locks from the passenger side.. or replace the solenoid..There are tools that slip between the door frame and window glass that can be used to open the door but if you don't know what you're doing you could do damage that will cost more than having a locksmith open the door for you. Once the door is open it's rather easy to remove the trim panel to get inside and look for what broke.
IF U CAN GET THE INSIDE DOOR PANNEL OFF ? TRY PULLING ON THE OR PRYING ON THE DOOR LOCK MECH. ESU A FLASHLIGHT CUZ ITS DARK. IF U CANT , I SUGGGEST TO CALL A LOCKSMITH. OR A MECHANIC.GOOD LUCK.
