Question for mazda owners ?

-Are mazdas good reliable cars? I'm wanting to get a mazda6 as my first car..I'm 17 but I don't know much about mazdas and I want a car that's safe, good on gas and won't give me too much trouble. I'll need this car throughout college so a few years or so.Yeah Mazdas tend to have great reliability, the 6 may be a little big for a first car so test drive that and a 3 to see which you prefer.

We had a Mazda and it never broke down - only things we needed to replace on it were due to wear and tear - tyres, exhaust etc.

If you have the budget for a new car maybe try the Nissan Juke, Nissan also tend to have great reliability it does 40mgp (more if you drive in eco mode) looks more funky for a teenager to be driving and just passed it's crash tests with flying colours.I suggest you get the Mazda 2, it comes with either a saloon version and a hatchback version with 1.5 litre engine. I wonder it the saloon model available in your country, if not go for the hatchback version of either 1.3 or 1.5 auto
Mazda 6 is a great car but I think is to big for you. Maybe try a Mazda 3 or a Honda civic. Both brands have excellent quality reviews -and safety points
