Why doesn't my key lock the doors on my porsche?

-My Porsche's battery went dead the other day, and after I got it running, everything worked fine, but the remote wont lock the doors and I have no other way of locking it. What could be the problem?If you lock the door, it only takes someone 5 seconds with a vise-grips to open it and cost you many hundreds of dollars to fix it.

It is foolish to lock your car.

Just remove the sound system when you leave it.



Why it is you have no other way of locking the doors?

Are you saying there is no key opening?



But if the remote is not working, I would try disconnecting the battery again, wait 20 minutes, and try again. When batteries go down, it can cause electronics to go into odd modes, and require a full reset.
The car hates you.. lol lock it on the inside when you get outthen see if that works.
