-I've heard a crowd of people say don't buy Audi's because they are very unreliable and expensive to fix. But then I hear another crowd of people say that they swear by the Audi name and "German Engineering" and the quality of the cars. This question is for Audi owners out there. Is your Audi unreliable or is it a pretty good car?Very untrue that all cars reliability are the same. Yes Audi's are quite difficult and expensive to maintain, but reliability data proves that Audi is probably the worst when it comes to reliability from Germany. Best opt for BMW or Mercedes Benz. These are long term German cars.
However do not get confused with reliability and quality. Audi is best for quality. Materials, technology, and how they put everything together, Audi has been known for having the BEST in the industry.
In general, Audi's are reliable and a good quality car. The problem is that they fall apart, when one thing DOES go wrong, a lot starts to go wrong on them and they are very VERY expensive to fix. This is why you don't typically see many old Audi's out there.
Audi's are as reliable as any other vehicle. However, they are generally more expensive to repair. Also, on these vehicles following the maintenance schedules is a must.
No complaints.
