First Car Question - is Jeep a good choice?

-I was thinking of buying my first car this summer. My dream vehicle would be an older, two-door, pitch black jeep with some steel radial tires and a wicked sound system.



How much would this cost?

Also, what's the best Jeep make? Fuel efficiency? (I assume it's pretty low) Life expectancy? Et cetera.



Just looking for some general advice/stories about jeeps!Lets see it is a very bad everyday car because it has very uncomfortable suspension and you feel every bump on the road they have very little to no electronics even most of their models today come with manual windows! Its 2011 cmon! the quality is sh*t they use more plastic than a rc car! And their engines are a little bit more reliable than a beetle's! All these were except Grand Cherokee which is a car that has no place in the jeep family it is confy reliable fast and comes with everything standard!

If you have to buy a jeep at least buy the grand cherokee or buy a chevy or a gmc which offers alot more for the same if not less price!
I don't know how much it would cost, but I had a Jeep but it had terrible gas mileage. I had a Grand Cherokee 1995 and I LOVED it. The only issue I had was bad gas mileage until I recently got in a bad accident in it and it rolled. But besides that, my family had the car since 1995 and it still runs - despite the crash. It got like 13mpg on average though. They're fun cars but not very economical.
I have no idea what these people are talking about, I purchased a 2002 Wrangler for my daughter to take to collage in Maine. 100,000 miles later its still a great running vehicle. Are you going to get 40 mpg? No, Like anything else there is give and take in a vehicle purchase. If you live in Florida do you need 4 wheel drive? Chances are no. If your in Maine, NH or Canada? Probably having the option of 4 wheel drive would be good to have. You don't see too many of those Battery powered cars in a screaming snow storm. We expect to get 200,000 miles out of this bad boy.
definitely is the Honda Civic V-Tec built-in that will suit your needs, do not purchase other over expensive car for your first car, listen to me and you will not go wrong.
Uhh. With the economy now-a-days a Jeep would be a bad choice because the the gas mileage.
