How do you replace a brake light switch on a 1995 Lexus ES300?

-Currently my issue is that my brake lights constantly stay on whether I have the engine running or not. My assumption would be the brake light switch. I never had to repair that before so I have no idea how to do so. Any ideas on how to do so or what else it could be would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.Not 100% this is the same thing as a brake light switch



Replace STOP LIGHT SWITCH



Remove instrument panel No. 1 undercover.

On ES300 models , remove lower instrument panel pad and air duct.

On all models, remove brake pedal return spring.

Disconnect connector, then remove switch attaching nut and switch.

Reverse procedure to install.
